A few days ago I tweeted the always lovely Dari Marder with our questions about Lea for Candies and the new campaign video. I am so grateful to have received the answers today and to be able to share this with all of you. I love the iconic brand of Candies and I’m so excited about the new ads and especially this awesome new video coming out in July! Thanks to @darimarder and @corycole, here’s the Qs & As.

Q1) How does Lea compare to other Candie’s girls you’ve worked with?

“Lea is great - she is such a hard worker! All Candie’s girls are different, and have their own unique style so it’s tough to compare. We love them all!”

Q2) How do you feel about the new Candie’s video? (We can’t wait!)

“It’s kinda adorable and sooo Lea. Can’t wait for you to see it :)”

Q3) What’s your favorite part of working for Candie’s?

“Getting to be creative, and try new things - and meet inspiring people like Lea.”

Q4) What made you choose Lea as the 2012 Candies Girl?

“We felt she embodied the spirit of the brand. She can do it all! Sing, act, give back, and more.”

Q5) Are you allowed to tell us when the commercial coming out or give us any bloopers (Or is it all secrets for now)?

“Probably 3rd week of July. Maybe we can premiere it on Twitter???”

Q6) A lot of the lovely Lea fans were wondering) would it ever be possible

for Candies to ship to Europe?

“Hopefully, one day. Right now Candie’s is available exclusively at

Kohl’s and on kohls.com.”

Q7) What’s your most important fashion tip?

“Be true to yourself, and be comfortable. That’s real style!”
